Cocoa Banana Quinoa with Almonds
Cocoa and banana – is it possible not to like this combination? This duo is perfect for a snack, dessert, but also as an addition to breakfast, thanks to which you can create a delicious, healthy dish to start the day. That’s exactly an idea I have for you today!
As you have probably noticed, I like to sneak quinoa into my diet – it is a gluten-free and very healthy pseudo-cereal, in which you can find a whole range of nutrients, such as calcium, iron and B vitamins. What’s more, you can find it in several colors, so it’s perfect for arranging colorful meals for your kids.I’m sure they will love it that way!
Preparation:
Before cooking, I rinsed the quinoa 1-2 times under cold running water and cooked it in a coconut drink according to the recipe on the package. I added cocoa and cinnamon and then mixed it all together. I put the quinoa into a bowl and added sliced banana on top. Finally, I sprinkled it with chopped almonds. Doesn’t it sound delicious? 😉
