Millet groat apple pie

Millet groat is irreplaceable as a ingredient of sweetness 🙂 It gives consistency, taste and health. Today the apple pie version.

I’ve poured boiling water on the groat, then boiled it on lazy fire. I’ve put it aside so it can soak and cool down. I’ve put it to the bowl, adding flour, xylitol, butter and cinnamon. I’ve blended all together to consistent mass. I’ve washed the apples, peeled them and sliced it. The half of the blended mass I’ve put into baking dish lined with cooking paper, placed the sliced apples on top which I covered with the remaining portion of blended mass. Bake for an hour in 180 degrees Celsius, leave it in the oven to cool down.
