Pancakes with Home-Made Jam
When it comes to my sweet breakfasts, oatmeal and millet porridge are definitely the most popular choices. When I manage to find a few more minutes in the morning (and believe me, I know it’s not easy!), I like to prepare pancakes with home-made fruit jam 🙂 Remember that if you want to save some time, you can always use ready-made jams, but make sure the ingredients are good! It is best if they do not contain added sugar. You can find such jams eg. HERE.
Preparation:
I stewed the fruit with water and coconut sugar until juice appeared. Then I cooked it a bit more until the jam got slightly thicker.
I mixed the eggs with the flour, plant-based drink and a bit of salt. I fried the pancakes in hot ghee, spread them with the home-made jam and folded into triangles. I decorated the pancakes with fresh strawberries ?
