Savory Millet Porridge with Herbs
Have you had enough of traditional, sweet millet porridge? How about a savory version? Millet groats is a good source of B vitamins, and at the same time it is a naturally gluten-free product that is very universal: it will work as a base for a sweet breakfast, dessert in the form of pudding, an addition to dinner dishes (meats, stews) or salads. Preparation:
I rinsed the groats under running, cold water, and then cooked it according to the recipe on the packaging. I diced the avocado and cut the dried tomatoes in strips. I mixed the cooked groats with thyme, turmeric, salt, and pepper. I added the avocado and tomatoes on top.
