Summer Essentials
Vacation time is in full swing! Have you already planned your holiday trips and journeys…? I know that holidays with children can sometimes be quite a challenge but I am sure that you will find some free time to read.
And that’s exactly why I’ve prepared this text with several articles from my blog that will be perfect for summer days. As usual, there will be some knowledge about healthy nutrition, physical activity, but also a bit about motivation and regeneration, both physical and mental ones 🙂
Vacation and Physical Activity – a Good Couple
Do you interrupt your training routine during your vacation and get worried that it will negatively affect your physical condition? Remember that exercise is not only about training on the mat! A walk along the sandy beach, bike rides, visiting beautiful towns… All this fits into the definition of active recreation, which I encourage you to do!
And if you have the time, will and opportunity, nothing can stop you from taking the mat with you. All you need is a little space and just a few minutes to do an effective workout. This is a good time to try something new. How about a pilates session on the beach…? Don’t be afraid to get out of your comfort zone! Remember that in the Diet & Training by Ann application (HERE) you will find different training programs. Below you will find the links to texts that are worth reading!

Hydration and Seasonality – Summer Priorities
Adequate hydration on hot days is a matter of health and safety. Always have a bottle of water with you, and if you decide to exercise in high temperatures, consider adding electrolytes. You will find more details in the text on hydration. There is also a link to a short article about berries to encourage you to collect seasonal delicacies and freeze them now to preserve their delicious flavors and nutritional values for the upcoming winter. What else is there for you? A recipe for a juicy, refreshing watermelon snack that you cannot miss in your summer menu.
Time for Yourself and Inner Energy
Is summer a good time to slow down…? Take care of your mental health, which is as important as your physical condition. You know well that I am close to the idea of holistic health care, which includes, among others, meditation. I also know that after returning from vacation, it is sometimes difficult to return to your routine, so I leave you a handful of motivation and tips on how to take care of your daily schedule, including time for relaxation.

- Rest – A Fixed Part of Your Day
And finally, one more suggestion for extreme temperatures, or how to deal with the heat (HERE). I am positive that you will find the texts useful and that they will make for a good read during your summer holidays.
Have a Happy and Healthy Summer Vacay! 🙂
