Skewers with Spinach Lio Shake

It is true that due to the weather, the barbecue season outside is already over, but if we have a craving for a skewers, we have ovens! 🙂 We can also use spinach Lio Shake. It will give our skewers a unique green color.

Spinach owes its dark green color to the presence of chlorophyll, which helps the body to remove heavy metals and contributes to weight reduction. Cartenoids such as lutein and zeaxanthin contained in its leaves are protecting the organ of vision from the harmful effects of free radicals and are protecting against DNA mutations, which consequently could lead to the development of cancer.

Spinach is also a source of potassium and magnesium, which have a positive effect on muscles. Simultaneously, potassium participates in the regulation of blood pressure, and  increasing its supply is recommended for people with higher blood pressure. While magnesium may lead to  mood improvement.

Skewers with spinach  Lio Shake

Preparation:

Thoroughly wash the chicken and cut it into cubes. Sprinkle  with marjoram, salt and pepper, then coat it heavily in Lio Shake spinach. Place it on the skewers sticks together  with  onions and mushrooms.

Bake at 180 degrees for approx. 40 minutes.
