Naturally Beautiful Skin with No Makeup

Whether we like it or not, beautiful, radiant skin is what gets noticed first. I think we all dream of healthy, smooth and even skin that looks great in its natural version without makeup. Oxidative Stress

Free radicals (oxidants) are reactive oxygen species that are a side effect of reactions that take place in the body. When there are too many of them, the structure of proteins, lipids and even DNA can be damaged. When the cells are unable to neutralize them, the so-called oxidative stress, i.e. a state of homeostasis disorder, may begin to take its toll, which, among other things, can accelerate skin aging. This results in the loss of firmness and elasticity of the skin, weakening of the skin’s ability to protect against UV radiation, and a decrease in the skin’s immune system. Antioxidants play a huge role in the process of neutralizing and fighting free radicals in the body.

 

UV Radiation

On the one hand, ultraviolet radiation emitted by the sun has a beneficial effect on the body, as it stimulates the production of vitamin D3, which, among other things, affects the functioning of the immune system. On the other hand, it is responsible for skin photoaging, damaging collagen and elastin, promotes the proliferation of free radicals and is one of the carcinogenic factors. After prolonged exposure to UVA and UVB radiation, the skin can become dry and dull, with an earthy tint. In addition, inflammation and irritation are more common. There is a decrease in skin firmness and increase in wrinkles, discoloration and problems with pigmentation.
