Christmas Salad
The holiday season is a time when the flavors of tradition meet new ideas, and the table becomes a place that brings us closer to our loved ones. I absolutely love this moment, but I also know that many people are looking for healthier alternatives that are not only delicious but also light and packed with nutrients. That’s why today I have a special treat for you—a holiday salad that will surprise you with its simplicity, flavor, and freshness. It’s perfect as a side dish for festive meals, but it also works wonderfully as a light snack throughout the day. Ready for a healthy holiday?
Preparation:
First, I thoroughly washed the vegetables: Jerusalem artichoke, fennel, and zucchini. I sliced them thinly on a slicer. Then I scalded the orange with boiling water, peeled it, and cut it into pieces. I prepared the dressing by mixing vinegar, lemon juice, pepper, salt, and mustard. I put all the ingredients on a large plate and poured the sauce over everything. Finally, I sprinkled the salad with nuts, which perfectly complemented its flavor. Ready! A light and fresh salad, full of Christmassy flavor that is bound to delight you and your loved ones.
