Oat Buttermilk Pancakes

Although Christmas is over, winter weather still makes me feel this unique atmosphere. I like to start gloomy, frosty mornings with a sweet, filling breakfast. That’s why I’ve prepared yet another variety of healthy pancakes, and I’m sure your children will also like them. Cinnamon and orange are definitely my favorites this time of year, but you can of course opt for your favorite fruit and spices. 🙂

 

Preparation:

I put xylitol, salt, flour and baking powder into a bowl. I mixed the dry ingredients, then added the egg, buttermilk and blended everything. In a frying pan I heated the clarified butter in a pan and fried the pancakes.

I cut the pancakes into smaller pieces, drizzled a bit of buttermilk over them, sprinkled them with cinnamon, and served with pieces of fresh orange and apple. You can add your favorite fruit 🙂
