10 Minutes Used to the Full – Smoothie + Care!

Is extra care an additional burden on your daily schedule? It doesn’t have to be that way! I’ll tell you how to sneak in some time for yourself without  ruining your busy timetable! 🙂

 

Rule 1: proper care

Since we call this care ‘additional’, it means we do not do it every day. It should be an extra boost for our skin, strengthening what we work on systematically throughout the week!

I adore the PUMP UP THE BEAUTY mask from Phlov – it is extremely effective, provides wonderful brightness and delicately but clearly lifts and firms my skin. I wish I could do it 2-3 times a week, but it’s not always possible so my minimum is 15 minutes at the weekend.

Of course, the selection of the right cosmetics for additional care is up to you and depends on what your skin needs. Pay careful attention to the signs it gives you! Knowing that we provide it with lots of good stuff and, in addition, with the kind it needs, it will be easier for us to include an additional, occasional step in the care ritual.

Rule 2: divide and mix

If you have the time during the week – say, half an hour at the weekend – just to pamper your skin, that’s great! You can easily combine the mask with your favorite elixir or serum and a gentle, lifting and relaxing face massage (and Phlov has recently added a lot of brilliant pink quartz massagers!). Then you can easily incorporate it in your free time.

But some of us are busy with work, juggling between home and kids, responsibilities, and plans. Perhaps you have so much to think about that it might seem there’s no time for any masks. You couldn’t be more wrong! Then the answer is combining things, doing two things at the same time. We are reportedly so good at multitasking so why not show how much! 

 

2 in 1 – a mask and a smoothie

Take it easy – I’m not going to ask you to add PUMP UP THE BEAUTY to your smoothie because there’s a much better way to combine them. The mask should be put on the skin for 15-20 minutes and you don’t have to do anything with it during this time. Isn’t this a great opportunity to make something delicious and healthy for your family?

Some time ago I recommended my Green Beauty Mix (HERE) – a fabulous and easy smoothie based on cucumber, spinach, kiwi, apple, walnuts, and coconut water. It is a strong dose of vitamin C and unsaturated fatty acids, which is a real booster for the condition of the skin.

It takes no time to prepare but if I put a mask on my face right before that, I can take my time – calmly and carefully peel the kiwi or carve the seeds out of apples. I have 15-20 minutes! I sometimes combine a mask or other cosmetic that needs to stay on our skin for a while (e.g. SKIN-EXPOSED), with some reading time, morning coffee, watering plants… The options are endless – let me know what you would mix your home SPA with!  

 

As you can see, combining two activities and doing them at the same time is a brilliant way not to forget about additional care. After a while, you will do it automatically. And as we all know, regular work brings best results! 🙂
