Tofu with bacon
Today I will serve, unusual combination of bacon and tofu. I will add some tahini paste and curry. Do you want to try it? 🙂
Tahini is a sesame paste, produced as the name suggests from sesame seeds. I really like to add it to my food, because it adds a unique taste even to ordinary dishes. During the colder months, you should purchase a jar of tahini, because it is a healthy, energetic fat, which contains calcium, magnesium, potassium and iron.
Tofu with bacon
Preparation:
Cut the bacon into cubes, add tahini sauce and curry paste. Chop the onion finely and add to the bacon. Sprinkle with cayenne pepper and simmer everything for a few minutes. On a separate pan fry the diced tofu until it will have light brown color. Combine all ingredients, adding the remaining spices. Add a little water and simmer for 10 minutes. Transfer to a bowl and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
