In recent days, the media roar about the dangers smog. This is a very serious problem for our health. It is worth considering what we can do to help yourself. One of the organ, which plays an important role in the proper functioning of our body is LIVER.
It performs many important tasks, and the main one is cleansing the body from toxins. Our everyday life is full of factors such as pollution, indigestible diet often oiled alcohol, tobacco smoke and stress as well as taking medication, and all this is a major challenge for our liver.
In addition, the liver is responsible for functions such as:
- boost of energy, which allows you to fight stress
- production of bile necessary for fat digestion
- metabolism of carbohydrates and protein
- absorption, storage and conversion of certain vitamins to the bioactive form
- control of blood glucose
- hormonal balance
- production of fibrydogen responsible for immune responses
- control of the production of cholesterol and triglycerides
- activation of enzymes
The liver has about 500 functions, and I mentioned only the most important ones. Equally impressive is the fact that during one minute its sweeping liter of blood, and is working around the clock. This allows you to understand the importance of our role in supporting the organ in hard work.
The liver can inform us in many ways about its poor condition. The most common symptoms of liver disorders include:
- tiredness
- dark circles under eyes
- food intolerance
- lack of appetite
- diarrhea or constipation
- headache and temples
- skin problems (acne, blemishes, gray color)
- lack of desire for sex
- depression, anxiety
- dark yellow urine color
- allergies
- deterioration of the thyroid gland
- hormonal problems
- Hormonal imbalance
To keep the liver in good health, avoid pesticides, preservatives and processed foods, take care of water metabolism in the body and drink plenty of fluids.
Enrich your diet with nutrients and foods containing antioxidants and helping with detox:
- chlorophyll (dark grapes, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries)
- beta carotene (carrots, beets)
- retinol (animal sources)
- healthy fats (coconut oil, butter, olive oil)
- vegetables (broccoli, cabbage, radish, Brussels sprouts, mustard, rapeseed, kale, radish, watercress, arugula)·
- garlic and onion
- dark chocolate
- apples
- lemon
- beef or chicken liver
Definitely worth to eat in a way to help the liver. Addition to the products mentioned above, it is recommended that a diet rich in foods that provide a free flow of emotional energy and physical, and therefore harmonize the liver. Mostly these are sweet products such as cereals, vegetables, legumes and complex carbohydrates. Very often the body’s response to depression or neurotic is craving for something sweet … Many of us know this 🙂
It is best to eat:
- honey, which also has a detoxifying effect (you can enhance its performance by mixing it with apple cider vinegar)
- a powder of the leaves of stevia
- a full blown sugar cane and pellets from cane juice
- licorice root
- barley malt
- a date syrup
- molasses
- rice syrup
The last two products have a warming effect and stimulate the flow of Qi energy, so they are only useful in the treatment of liver stagnation, not accompanied by the presence of heat.
In the case where there are two problems simultaneously, it is recommended to use:
- potions peony and licorice
- Melissa
- Peppermint
- chamomile
Well-being and health will result in a diet rich in products supporting the rebuilding of liver blood, and generally strengthen the body fluids
You will detoxify and cool down your live regularly consuming:

Often you ask me about a diet that will provide detox the body.
