Asparagus in Cured Ham with Soft-Boiled Egg

Are there any asparagus fans here? I’m sure there are! It’s one of those vegetables that you wait for all year long and then eat it as often as possible. 🙂 You probably already know that – the season for asparagus is in full bloom. I couldn’t ignore it and today I have a recipe for a delicious breakfast with asparagus.

By the way, it is an interesting alternative to oatmeal or sweet options – everyone needs a change sometimes. 🙂 If necessary, you can also easily serve this dish for lunch or dinner with a slight tweak. Delicious, healthy,and  in season!

 

Preparation:

I put the asparagus in boiling water for about 1 minute. I wrapped the cooked asparagus in slices of ham and spread some butter on the tops of the spears. I put the asparagus spears into a casserole dish and sprinkled them with chili. I baked it in the oven at 180°C for about 10 minutes. In the meantime, I soft boiled the egg and served the asparagus with it.
