Buckwheat Groats with Chickpeas and Dried Tomatoes
If you’ve had enough of traditional breakfast porridge and sweet groats, try this recipe. You only need to use a few strong flavors like dried tomatoes, garlic, herbs, and spices, to make this dish taste extraordinary. Don’t forget healthy fats! I’ve chosen olive oil and walnuts 🙂
Preparation:
I cooked the chickpeas with thyme following the recipe on the packaging. Then I finely chopped the tomatoes, rinsed the groats under running water and cooked it with a pinch of salt. Next, I fried chopped garlic in olive oil, added the tomatoes, cooked groats and chickpeas. I seasoned the dish with salt, pepper and soy sauce.
I topped it with crushed walnuts 🙂
