Christmas Granola

I have written quite often about breakfast recently. There are a lot of reasons to do that and you can read about them in my previous posts 🙂 Today, however, I would like to show you a recipe which you can use in two different ways! The first one is to prepare granola just for yourself to use it with your breakfast or desserts.

The second one is to use it as a Christmas present. Giving expensive gifts doesn’t always make the other person happy. I find the biggest joy in the effort someone has put in preparing a present for me and I have to admit it is really moving. That’s why I try to prepare sweet, little surprises for my loved ones. One of them is granola which you can put into small jars, decorate with a ribbon and give to your friends with best wishes 🙂

Preparation:

I melted the oil, mixed all the ingredients thoroughly (except for the raisins). and added the spices to taste (if there’s any ingredient you don’t like or the flavor is too intense, just skip it). I scattered the mixture all over the baking sheet lined with parchment paper and baked it for about 20-30 minutes at 140°C. I stirred my granola 3 times while it was baking and at the end I added the raisins (if you do that earlier, they will burn).
