Now there is more and more brands that produces flavored water.  The worse are those with preservatives in the composition. It certainly disqualify them already as healthy drinks.

Those who are on diet can also invest in mineral water, because drinking water kills hunger and reduces appetite. Water also increases the burning of calories during exercise and adds you more power and energy.

It’s best to drink water immediately after waking up, but first you must rinse your mouth and then drink ½ – 1 cup of water. It is advisable to drink small sips of hot water (preferably warm), you can add lemon or grapefruit or extract from their seeds, it cleanses the body of toxins and speeds up the metabolism and stimulates our body 🙂

Many people are drink during meals. It is better not to do it, because of water (in this case) enters the stomach, dissolves  gastric juices and interferes with digestion!

Often just sipping while consuming food can result bloating, constipation or gastric problems.

Sparkling water can cause discomfort and gastrointestinal disorders.

It is best to drink preferably 15 minutes before a meal and one hour after the meal.

However, if you cannot stop drinking at all, because you feel dry mouth-moisten your lips.

How much water should we drink?

It is believed that during the day you can drink about 2 – 2.5 liters of fluid. In case of athletes it is different, depending on the sport and training intensity, you should drink from about 4 up to 8 liters of water per day.
