Sunday carbohydrate dose – porridge with pear and spices

 

There are mornings that the only thing I dream of for breakfast is a solid portion of colorful carbohydrates with coffee 🙂

YES! Sunday – this is the day!

Components:

  • approx. 70 g of gluten-free oat flakes
  • 1 glass of vegetable milk
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • a pinch of cardamom
  • 1 tablespoon of coconut oil or Ghee butter
  • 1 pear
  • Lychee fruit (I got it as a gift :)), I recommend other sweet – sour fruits, at this time of the year, for example, frozen raspberries.
  • 2 tablespoons of roasted sunflower seeds
  • 1 tablespoon of honey

Preparation:

 

Wash the pear, cut it into cubes. Add got water into the oats and let it soak for around 20 minutes.
Then cook it with vegetable milk, add pear and spices. Cook for about 10 minutes on medium heat. At the end add coconut oil, honey and roasted sunflower seeds. 

 Place it in a bowl – here I suggest to add your favorite fruit with a sour / sweet taste and your favorite  ingredients for sprinkling  🙂
