Gingerbread Porridge

I’ve prepared loads of recipes for Christmas Eve dinner but we can’t forget to make the holiday breakfast just as full of christmassy flavours ? If you’ve baked some gingerbread cookies, you can make use of them in this recipe. I also enriched the porridge, which I am offering today, with oranges – the fruit we all associate with the festive season.

 

Preparation:

I cooked the oat flakes in plant milk, added the spices, nuts and raisins. I crumbled the gingerbread cookies (recipe available HERE) and sprinkled them all over the porridge. At the end I added sliced oranges, almond flakes and some honey. Mmm… yummy!
