Sandwiches in Various Forms

The new school year has begun which means kids are coming back to school and will soon have to start studying hard. Thus, a good source of energy will be necessary in order to stay focused, and this source could be e.g. sandwiches, which many of you love!

It is still one of the most commonly eaten meals in almost every home. Remember, however, not to fall into a routine, and diversify sandwiches by adding different vegetables, use different sources of protein (including plant-based, e.g. legumes) and whole grain bread. I wrote more about the principles worth following to prepare healthy sandwiches HERE.

In this text I have gathered a few suggestions for healthy sandwiches and homemade spreads. You can use them as inspiration for breakfast or an idea for packed lunch. See for yourself! 🙂

  1. Avocado Toast
  2. Sandwiches with Pepper and Chickpea Spread
  3. Vegetable & Egg Sandwich
  4. Smashed Avocado Toast with Soft Boiled Egg
  5. Spread with Roast Vegetables
  6. Avocado and Banana Mousse
  7. Roasted Red Pepper Hummus

Remember that if you don’t have the time, you can use ready-made, good solutions. At Foods by Ann, you can find several types of healthy, gluten-free bread HERE and a wide range of spreads (creams, jams, pastes) HERE. Enjoy! 🙂
