School Lunchbox Ideas
Summer holidays always pass too quickly. For our kids, autumn is the time to return to school and their daily duties. I hope that they will be able to study safely with their peers in schools, and that remote learning will no longer be necessary.
Every young body needs energy and nutrients to develop properly and absorb new information. That’s why it’s vital that we prepare nutritious snacks that our kids can take to school. According to a lot of research studies, breakfast is the most important meal of the day (I wrote more about it HERE). However, what your kids eat at school is just as important. They often spend long hours there, so it’s crucial to pack healthy meals in their lunchbox which they can have in their free time between classes.
If you’ve run out of ideas and need some inspiration on what to prepare – I’m here to help! Below I have prepared a list of recipes that you may find useful. I’ve picked the meals that are great for taking to school and that you can prepare in advance. There will be plenty of sweet and savory ideas, as well as healthy snacks for small appetite. You can modify a recipe and replace some ingredients so that your children enjoy it. Remember about fruit and vegetables — it’s important to start healthy habits at an early age. Good Luck! 🙂
PS If you want to save time, I recommend preparing larger portions. This way you don’t have to spend time thinking what you can have at work – I guarantee that you will like these dishes as much as your kids 🙂
